The Property Saga, Continued

When we left the Norwalk Police Department on August 1st, 2012 after picking up our illegally seized property, and finding the rifle cases missing (see the previous posting here), we were instructed that we should phone Lieutenant Michael Paul regarding the missing cases and the damaged Mossberg barrel. We were given a phone number to do that. We phoned that same day, only to find that Lt. Paul was "on vacation until August 15th". We left no message at that time, but called back on the 15th and the 16th, getting the same recorded message each time, and each time requesting a callback to discuss our missing and damaged property. As of today, August 20th, 4pm, we still had not received the callback. We called the desk at 5pm, and were told that Lt. Paul was, in fact, retired! Now, I ask you; in my shoes, wouldn't you be thinking that Scott Anderson is either a very poor subordinate not to know that his immediate supervisor is in fact retiring, or maybe just a teensie bit "disingenuous"? Yeah, I thought so.

This whole affair has smelled to high Heaven since it began on February 16th, 2011, with Jared Zwickler baldfacedly lying to arrest me, invade our home and steal our property, and it just keeps getting more malodorous. In an effort to dispel some of this stink, we have demanded through our attorney, Rachel M. Baird, an investigation into our missing and damaged property. Here is the letter demanding an investigation sent by Attorney Baird to "Acting Chief" Kulhawik of the Norwalk Police Department.

Update: As of today, August 23rd, 2012, Chief Thomas Kulhawik of the Norwalk Police Department has not deigned to respond to Attorney Baird's demand letter. This is a clear demonstration of how little respect the Norwalk Police Department has for the property of the residents of Norwalk, Connecticut, and a clear indication of their intent to continue to hide from the consequences of their illegal actions; deny, deny, deny!
